The Twelve Days of Agape: The Story of “Abby”
Agape has encouraged me to pursue the dreams that God has planted on my heart. I participated in their Life Skills class, where I learned valuable lessons on time management, living on a budget, and addressing past wounds of my heart that only Jesus could heal.
The Twelve Days of Agape: The story of “Christy”
Agape was many things—but the greatest blessing is that God used it to lead me out of fear and shame and into a place of peace, joy, and the most incredible gift I’ve ever been given:
a beautiful baby.
Talk about the spirit of Christmas.
Thank you, Agape, and thank you to everyone who gives so that this ministry can continue. Your time, your resources, your donations—they matter more than you know. I promise you: Agape is a true difference-maker.
Twelve Days of Agape- The Story of Leah
Story 1: Leah — The Story That Changed Everything
To begin the 12 Stories of Agape, we’re sharing the story that opened our eyes and transformed our outreach. Leah came to Agape in the middle of deep exploitation, addiction, fear, and shame. At just 18, she had been trafficked, controlled, and told she had no worth.
But when she walked through our doors for a pregnancy test, she found something she didn’t expect—peace, compassion, and the reminder of her value in Christ. That moment became the beginning of her escape, her healing, and her journey toward freedom.
Leah recently reached back out to tell us:
“You saved my life that day.”
Her story is the reason Agape began intentional outreach to women facing sexual exploitation. Her courage changed our ministry forever.
Healed, whole, finally free- “Anna” Update
nna wanted freedom from her addiction, and in His kindness, we believe God answered her prayer in the fullest way possible.
Please pray for our team as they process this heartbreaking loss. They loved her deeply. Her life mattered to them.
Pray for her friends who remain on the streets—grieving, aching, remembering.
And pray that even through this sorrow, their hearts would be softened to the endless, pursuing love of Christ.
Love in Action
“I don’t want to have an abortion. I just don’t know what else to do. I’m about to lose my housing, and I don’t know how I can get everything I’ll need for a new baby. The father… he wants nothing to do with us.”
At Agape, this is where we step in.
Where most might hand over a number for her to call, we call with her.
We cry with her. We help shoulder the burden.
Rediscovering Faith
Hear a first-hand account of how the Lord met a young mom in a crisis pregnancy right where she was, and walked her through Agape love, grace and freedom.
BUT. GOD.
When the church ladies ever a new club in south Brevard, they had no idea they were walking into a divine appointment.
“We had never set foot in that club until that day, that hour, that holy intersection of prayer and providence.
God knew.
He knew the years of pleading prayers, the moments of wondering when.
He knew the one who would be working that day —
and He wrote the story to meet her right where she was.”
El Roi — The God Who Sees
He is El Roi.
The God who sees.
He saw your unformed body in the secret place and called it good.
He saw your very first breath rise like a fragile prayer—and He will be there to hold you at your last.
He heard the harsh words that split your heart in two.
He saw the abuse.
The innocence stripped away.
The bruises left by what pretended to be love.
God doesn’t need your perfection. He needs your obedience.
