Healed, whole, finally free- “Anna” Update

Recently, we shared a street outreach story about Anna.

Today, we share a heartbreaking update.

A few weeks ago, when the church ladies gathered to pray with Anna, she asked if she could pray too.

Her words were raw and unfiltered.

Sincere.

Ache-filled.

Beautiful.

She asked the Lord to bless our team, and she prayed—oh, how she prayed—that Jesus would heal her from her addiction.

Last week, Anna died on the very streets that had been her home for so many years.

Our hearts are shattered.

Her life was precious.

She was deeply loved—by us, by her friends, and most of all, by Jesus Christ.

But God.

Always—But God.

His grace leads us home, and we believe His grace carried Anna all the way Home.

We believe she is with Jesus—healed, whole, finally free—and experiencing the joy and peace she longed for all her life.

Anna wanted freedom from her addiction, and in His kindness, we believe God answered her prayer in the fullest way possible.

Please pray for our team as they process this heartbreaking loss. They loved her deeply. Her life mattered to them.

Pray for her friends who remain on the streets—grieving, aching, remembering.

And pray that even through this sorrow, their hearts would be softened to the endless, pursuing love of Christ.
