Street Outreach- “Anna”
For more than a year, our street outreach team has been showing up week after week—offering women not only basic needs, but most importantly, the hope and love of Christ.
When we first met “Anna” last year, she wanted nothing to do with us. She cursed at us and told us to go away.
But we kept showing up. We didn’t push. We were simply present.
Over time, the walls around Anna’s heart began to soften. She started sharing pieces of her story—how she is both a daughter and a mother. Drugs and prostitution have left their marks on her body, but her soul is still deeply loved by God.
Recently, Anna was hospitalized. She told us, “Every day I thought about the Church Ladies. I remembered the prayers you prayed for me, and that gave me hope. I’m close to going into rehab. I’m almost ready to finally leave my street life.”
Please join us in praying for Anna—and for the many other women Agape serves each week during street outreach. Pray for chains to be broken, for healing to come, and for hope to rise.
